FYI: Bowman Banquet Hall, Bowman Nature Park and Bowman Inner City Park are closed until April 1, 2020 in response to the public health threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Bowman Town Hall is committed to serving the community by offering a safe environment for both customers and staff. Therefore, effective March 17, 2020, the Bowman Town Hall will be closed to the public until further notice due to the ongoing and fluid COVID-19 pandemic. For customers who wish to make utility payments, you may do so online or via phone. Please note that during normal operating hours, you can utilize the Night Depository box located on the side of the building to communicate with staff.

Bowman is a small, striving town, of about 1,000 people, nestled between the capital city of Columbia and the historic port city of Charleston.

The Town of Bowman also has access to two interstate highways (I-26, I-95). It is reasonable driving distance to great places like Orangeburg, St. Matthews, Branchville, St. George, Columbia, Charleston, Holly Hill, Elloree, and Santee. It also has membership to one of the greatest counties in the state (Orangeburg). As you enter into this site, you will find out more about the small, quiet town of Bowman, South Carolina and it's history.

Town Council Update

In response to the public health threat posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Bowman Town Council has decided to Close the Bowman Banquet Hall, Bowman Inner City Park and Bowman Nature Park until April 1, 2020.

Special Called Meeting

The Bowman Town Council will have a Special Called Meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 10am at the Bowman Town Hall. The public is invited to attend.
